Anti War Spore

Authored and Created by
Victoria R. Jenkinson

This body of work examines the relationship between organic systems and technological systems during periods of acceleration and systemic strain. Across ecological, social, and technological environments, systems increasingly operate at speeds that exceed the regenerative rhythms through which living structures traditionally adapt.

When these conditions intensify, systems begin to fragment, reorganize, and move through visible states of decay. Rather than treating decay solely as collapse, this work approaches it as a transitional condition in which patterns of exhaustion, mutation, and regeneration emerge.

Drawing, moving image, and small artifact works function as observational instruments within this investigation. Each piece records structural patterns that appear when systems are pushed beyond equilibrium, translating complex systemic behavior into visual form.

This project is part of an ongoing studio investigation into how systems under acceleration reorganize over time. The work does not attempt to resolve these conditions, but instead studies the signals that emerge as systems shift, destabilize, and adapt.
